APPEALLet us re emphasize that all functions of the society are non commercial in nature and its officers do not draw any remuneration at all from its resources. The fee structure of the school precludes a self financing status as any sharp upward revision will negate the very purpose of reaching out to the economically weaker sections of the society. At the same time the quality of education also should not be sacrificed. Besides, a large number of students attending the school are imparted instructions either completely free or at greatly reduced fees. While, we the members of the Shabbir Memorial Education Society are sparing no efforts to meet the situation, our resources are very limited. We are, therefore, obliged to solicit the support and help of all like minded persons sensitive to the educational needs, particularly of minorities and deprived communities in India. We earnestly appeal for your cooperation and generous donations. The priority areas for which support is requested are library, computer lab and science labs and another bus to make the school achieve its goal at the earliest. Contributions may be sent in favour of : Shabbir Memorial Education Society, Account No. 834, Union Bank of India, A.M.U. Branch, Aligarh. (for contribution from outside India for which permission from Govt. of India under FCRA has been obtained) or Shabbir Memorial Education Society, Account No. 1562 (for contribution from within India for which they will get income tax deductions as per order No. 2264 dated 4.2.2003.
