The Aligarh Modern School has been established by a
group of people dedicated to the cause of
education. The school is affiliated to the Central
Board of
Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), Delhi upto High
School. The vision of the founding members
has been to provide quality educational
facilities
particularly for minorities and economically weaker
sections of the society. Let us
emphasize that all functions of the school
are non-commercial in nature and its officers do
not draw any remuneration from its resources.
A large number of students attending the school
are imparted instructions either completely free
or at
greatly reduced fees. The fee structure of
the
school precludes a self financing status as any
sharp upward
revision will negate the very purpose of
reaching out to the economically weaker sections
of the society.
At the same time the quality of education should
also not be sacrificed.
The school is poised for a big leap forward. We
are currently working on setting up the
library, computer lab and science labs. We also
need a second school bus to transportation of
students.
The school is also adding a hostel to cater to
out-of-town students.
While we, the members of the Shabbir Memorial
Education Society are sparing no efforts to meet
the situation,
our resources are very limited. We are therefore
obliged to solicit the support and help of all
like minded
persons sensitive to the educational needs,
particularly of minorities and deprived
communities in India.
Permission from The Government of India has been
obtained under the FCRA Act for contributions
from outside
India, and may be sent in favor of 'Shabbir
Memorial Education Society, Account No. 834',

India, A.M.U. Branch, Aligarh. Contributions
from within India are tax-deductible as per
order No. 2264, and may be sent to 'Shabbir
Memorial Education Society, Account No. 1562'.
We earnestly appeal for your cooperation and
